10 – Nothing

This is the twelfth post in the series of Daily Habits, which is about a listing of useful habits that should be a part of a productive person’s daily routine. To read, you can start here.

A very important activity I hardly found in any book or article is allocating time for doing Nothing. As strange as it seems, finding a time to do nothing is a very fruitful habit. The benefits can be likened to meditation. However, instead of a focused activity like meditation, just let the mind and body run on autopilot while relaxing physically in your favorite posture.

It can bring the waves of tension and stress inside the body to a natural conclusion and release the negative emotions. It is also a time away from both monotony and pressures of the society.
