A very important activity I hardly found in any book or article is allocating time for doing Nothing. As strange as it seems, finding a time to do nothing is a very fruitful habit. The benefits can be likened to meditation. However, instead of a focused activity like meditation, just let the mind and body run on autopilot while relaxing physically in your favorite posture.
It can bring the waves of tension and stress inside the body to a natural conclusion and release the negative emotions. It is also a time away from both monotony and pressures of the society.
